I told you so
UGH... so I get to say I told you so. I really didn't want to be right because well the person who was wrong is a doctor. And I want to trust my doctor. But no I was right. I was right in saying that if my TSH was 2.88 on 85mcgs and .16 on 100 mcgs that switching to 75 mcgs was not going to make it fall between 2.5 and 1. I told the nurse my concerns. I'm so sorry you've not been well. I actually thought I had the opposite not too long ago, Hyperthyroidism. Nope - thyroid was okay, just my mind that is not. I hope your doctor listens to you now. I'm sending good thoughts your way! :)
I have been through the same thing, 6 months after having Christopher, I found out the I had thriod problems. I was tired all the time, couldn't loose the baby weight, and even lost some hair. I also have Hypothroidism. In 2005, I was diagnosed with Hoshimotos disease. I was at a check up and my endocronologist felt lumps on my thyroid, he did ultrasounds and found a couple nodules, from there he did a needle biopsy. Thank God my results were negative for cancer. We finally got my levels to be normal after many different doses of medication. Hopefully they will get yours fixed soon, I will keep you in my prayers for feeling better soon!
